SuperEasy Pty Ltd (ABN 48 092 141 083) SMSF accounting specialists, trading as SuperEasy®, is a Registered Tax Agent: No. 00343 008, and our auditors are registered with ASIC as self-managed superannuation fund auditors under S128B of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993. SuperEasy® is Corporate Authorised Representative No. 464 437 of First Mutual Australia Pty Ltd holder of Australian Financial Services Licence No. 423 710 (download the Financial Services Guide (FSG)) and a member of Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals (AIOFP).

Established in March 2000, SuperEasy® provides a comprehensive accounting solution for Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF), popularly called DIY Superannuation. SuperEasy® team recognised the need for an integrated business that would enable clients to obtain comprehensive information about the product, also enable on line processing of the setup and administration of the funds. The success of the concept has been achieved relatively quickly, with the client base reaching over a thousand (September 2002). SuperEasy® is privately owned by its founders, who share the same business ethics and drive for technological innovation, that was the basis for the founding of the company. SuperEasy® main achievement and measure of its success is constantly growing client base, the majority of clients being loyal supporters of the business from the very beginning in 2000.

Starting from July 2013 SuperEasy® has added to its product offering mortgage and finance broking service, specialising in SMSF Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangements (LRBA). SuperEasy® is Credit Representative CRN 442 116, of Australian Credit Licence No.405 961, and a member of Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) M-325428.

The company was founded by Zdenko Simonic who has extensive business experience in developing the largest technology based financial systems for some blue chip companies in Australia, such as AXA Australia (formerly National Mutual) and ANZ Banking Corporation.

Zdenko Simonic holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree majoring in Information Technology, Diploma of Financial Planning, RG146 Certificate: Self Managed Superannuation Fund Adviser (Personal Advice), Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking FNS40811. He has over thirty years of extensive experience in both European and Australian financial systems, focusing on design, development and delivery. Zdenko has the ability to convert complex business models into user friendly and efficient business solutions utilising latest in the Information Technology available to mainframes and the Internet.

SuperEasy® business was established after two years research of the market, and recognition of the need for a fully integrated online SMSF provider. The expertise required for building such a sophisticated system, which is now operational and successful since 2001, was largely based on the result of extensive research of DIY superannuation and all the factors surrounding establishment and management of self managed superannuation funds, backed up by Zdenko's hands on experience in operation of his own SMSF.

Alexandra Simonic
Sales and Marketing Manager

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. She has a strong business background in Logistics and Supply Management. Her experience and hands on knowledge in logistics discipline, was gained while working for some of the largest corporate in Australia, such as Philip Morris Limited, Australia, ASTA (now Boeing), Automotive Components Ltd, a division of Repco and JAC Australia. Her career developed further, and after extensive training she became an IT functional consultant and implementation consultant of the large ERP system, SAP. Alex is a certified SAP consultant, and was specializing and consulting in Materials Management and Production Planning modules. During her consulting years, while working for Haltek Pty Ltd, a division of Hoechst Australia, Price Waterhouse Urwick and Software Consulting Services, the nature of the large implementations and the integration aspect, exposed her to the corporate business and its issues in its entirety, broadening her knowledge and expertise. Alex was also involved in the pre-sales and marketing of the SAP system as a lead up to the actual implementations, and she brings to SuperEasy® over thirty years of experience gained in the corporate world.

Colin Grenfell, FIA, FIAA, FASFA
Associate Director

Colin held a variety of superannuation, actuarial and investment roles with National Mutual Life, culminating in appointment as NMFM Senior Actuary. The National Mutual (now AXA Australia) group of companies has operating businesses in Australia, New Zealand and Asia with a focus on superannuation, insurance and investments. From 1997 to December 1998, Colin worked with William M Mercer as a Superannuation Consultant and Actuary. In April 2000, he was appointed a part-time member of the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal (SCT). In February 2010 he was also appointed an independent director of the Uniting Church in Australia Beneficiary Fund (UCABF). In April 2015 Colin retired from both the SCT and UCABF. Colin is an experienced senior executive with in-depth knowledge of all aspects of Australian superannuation. When he joined SuperEasy® in 2001, in the capacity of the Associate Director, he brought a wealth of experience in the following disciplines: Actuarial, Administration, Compliance, Consultancy, Industry representation, Insurance, Investment, Member communication, Plan accounting, Regulations, Taxation and Trusteeship. Colin is a former director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) and is a member of the ASFA Victorian Legislation Discussion Group. He is also a founding member and now convener of the Actuaries Institute Superannuation Projections and Disclosure (SPD) sub-committee.
