Privacy and Security

SuperEasy will only collect personal information, where it is or may be required to be collected in order for SuperEasy to meet its legal requirements to regulatory authorities such as the Australian Taxation Office and or other bodies required under the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. In other circumstances, information will only be collected when individuals specifically provide such information on a voluntary basis.

Personally identifiable information about individual users will not be sold or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties. Access to the SuperEasy client database or documents/files, containing personal information is restricted to authorised SuperEasy staff members only, with direct responsibility for customer service or management of the website hosted in Australia. Authorised staff members are not allowed to communicate or pass on any personal information about members to non-authorised staff without the expressed permission of the Executive Directors.

SuperEasy will not distribute, through e-mail to its clients, promotional and/or marketing information about other products, services and offerings from SuperEasy and or its partners, agents or any other third party without their specific permission. Subscription to such services will always be optional to the subscriber and on an "opt-in" voluntary basis. The subscriber will always have the opportunity to "opt- out" of receiving any material at anytime. The information that the subscriber will receive will be specifically relevant to the topics that they have subscribed to. For example, if a subscriber has opted for receiving information on 'on-line' share brokers, this will not be taken as an understanding that they wish to receive information on insurance.

SuperEasy reserves the right to contact a subscriber or a client, at its discretion, with direct relation to the service that it has provided to the subscriber or a client.

SuperEasy reserves the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in relation to the website in order to measure interest in the various services and information provided on the site. This will also be carried out in order to improve the level of service provided by SuperEasy to its clients. At SuperEasy discretion, we will inform advertisers of information pertaining to the number of users exposed to or clicked through their advertising banners. SuperEasy will not provide any personally identifiable information to any third parties, and any data provided, will only be aggregated data from the statistical analyses carried out.

SuperEasy from time to time, at its discretion, may engage with third parties to allow them to offer subscription and/or registration-based services through the SuperEasy website. SuperEasy is not responsible for, nor will it be held liable for any actions or policies of such third parties and it is the clients' responsibility to check the applicable privacy policy or privacy statement of such party/parties, when providing personally identifiable information.

Protection of the personal information - SuperEasy® Security When you place an order for a service with SuperEasy®, we offer the highest level of industry standard security, provided and guaranteed through 128 bit SSL encryption. This standard is used worldwide, by a large-scale blue chip companies. Therefore, when you are filling in SuperEasy forms, which have any personally identifiable information about you, you are doing so in a closed secure environment, where no one is able to see your details. Furthermore, all of the data we collect and maintain is protected by state-of-the-art 'firewalls' which prevent any unauthorised access.

SuperEasy reserves the right to change this policy at any time by notifying users of the existence of a new privacy statement. This statement and the policies outlined herein are not intended to, and do not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.

Ensuring your personal information is up-to-date
We rely on the personal information we hold about you to efficiently conduct our business of providing or arranging products and services. For this reason, it is very important that the personal information we collect from you is accurate, complete and up-to-date. During the course of our relationship with you we may ask you to tell us of any changes to your personal information. We also invite you to contact us at any time to update or correct your personal information.

Access and correction to your personal information
You may request access to any of the personal information we hold about you. In most cases, details of the personal information we hold about you is available by contacting us. If the information you seek is not readily available, for example, archived data, then we will endeavor to provide this to you within 30 days of your request. We reserve the right to charge you a fee for this retrieval. We may be required by law or by good business practice to retain your personal information for a period of time after you have ceased your relationship with us. After the required time has passed we attend to the secure destruction or deletion of your personal information. We are not always required to provide you with access to your personal information upon your request. We may refuse you access to personal information in a number of circumstances, such as where the information may relate to existing or anticipated legal proceedings with you, where denying access is required or authorised by law, or where the request for access is regarded as frivolous or vexatious. If we deny your request for access to, or refuse your request to correct your personal information, we will explain why and will keep a record of your request on our file. If any of the personal information we hold about you is incorrect, inaccurate or out of date you may request that we correct the information. If appropriate we will correct the personal information. At the time of the request, otherwise, we will provide an initial response to you within seven days of receiving your request. Where reasonable, and after our investigation, we will provide you with details about whether we have corrected the personal information within 30 days. If we refuse to correct personal information we will provide you with our reasons for not correcting the information.
